Mold Found in Cabinets

July 23, 2020

Our licensed team of professionals did an indoor air quality (IAQ) assessment in New Orleans and found a pen/asp mold raw count of over 350,000 and 4,780,000 spores/m3.  We have never seen levels this high in a mold air sample, not even during Harvey!

Pen/asp mold is especially dangerous too, as the spores are smaller and more easily airborne, which poses a substantial risk to human health.  This incident serves as a significant reminder that frequent check-ups with professionals are an essential part of stopping these health hazards before they can develop.

The mold pictured below was discovered under some cabinets in a commercial high rise building in New Orleans, LA.
