Denton 3P Challenge
March 26, 2014
Farmer Environmental Group’s team members participated in the Denton 3P Challenge on March 22, 2014. It was such a fun event for the team members that participated. The weather was a cool enough to get through each relay, but perhaps a little too chilly for anyone that might have fallen in during the canoe relay 🙂
The first team consisted of Chris Kaseta and Mat Farmer. Chris and Mat teamed up to do the entire 3P Challenge. They paddled, pounded, and pedaled side by side. Chris and Mat finished 7th place overall. Way to go, guys!
The second Farmer team consisted of Nathan Buchanan, George Slay, Kelle Rawlings, Kate Farmer, Pat Farmer, and Craig Farmer. Nathan and George started the team out in the canoe. They paddled the 3.8 miles to tag team the runners, Kate Farmer and Kelle Rawlings. Kate and Kelle pounded 2.5 miles to then tagged Craig and Pat Farmer into the challenge. Pat and Craig pedaled 13 miles to the finish line.
We look forward to next year’s challenge! And a special thanks to Randy Slay for photography.
